Delete your Cook N’Eat AI account
If you no longer want to use Cook N’Eat AI, you can request that your account and associated data be permanently deleted. This page explains how to submit a request, what data is deleted, what may be retained, and how long the process takes.
How to request account deletion
To request deletion of your Cook N’Eat AI account, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to support@legnalabs.com from the same email address you use to sign in to Cook N’Eat AI.
- Use the subject line: “Cook N’Eat AI – Delete my account”.

In the body of the email, please include:
- Your full name (optional but helpful)
- The email address associated with your Cook N’Eat AI account (if different from the one you are sending from)
- A short confirmation that you want your account and data to be deleted
Once we receive your request, we will confirm by email and begin processing the deletion.
What data will be deleted
When we complete your deletion request, we will permanently delete or anonymize the following data associated with your Cook N’Eat AI account:
- Your Cook N’Eat AI account profile and identifiers
- Saved recipes created manually or with AI assistance
- Imported recipes from URLs
- Cookbooks and organizational structures you created
- Meal logs, interpreted ingredients, calories, macros, and history
- Health goal profile, weight tracking entries, food preferences, and ingredients to avoid
- Egg balance, reward records, and account-specific entitlement records where deletion is legally and technically permitted
- App-specific settings and preferences stored for your account
After deletion, this data will no longer be accessible in the app and cannot be recovered.
Data that may be retained
In some cases, we may need to retain limited information even after your account is deleted, for example:
- Basic technical logs and security records required to protect our services and prevent abuse
- Aggregated or anonymized analytics that no longer identify you personally
- Data we are legally required to keep for a certain period (for example, for accounting, fraud prevention, or compliance)
Any retained data is kept only for the purposes described above and is not used to recreate your account or rebuild your profile.
How long deletion takes
We aim to process account deletion requests as quickly as possible. In most cases:
- You will receive an acknowledgement of your request within 7 days.
- Your account and associated data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days of confirming your request, except where a longer retention period is required by law.
Reinstalling or using the app again
After your account is deleted, you can still reinstall Cook N’Eat AI and create a new account in the future. Your previous recipes, cookbooks, and settings will not be restored.
